Position Vacant - Communication Manager

The CRC for Greenhouse Accounting is an unincorporated cooperative research venture between twelve partners. It provides research outputs for land-based greenhouse emissions accounting at the national and project levels.

This position exists to manage and implement the CRC’s Communication activities, including print and electronic media, and to develop communication and marketing strategies in consultation with the Business Development Manager, Education Manager and the science teams. A major focus of the role is to work with scientists to synthesise the science from the CRC and develop knowledge products that are meaningful to clients and the centre’s audiences.

The incumbent reports to the CEO and provides line and functional management to the Centre’s IT Support Officer. The position works cooperatively within a small team of science support professionals and requires the ability to develop effective liaison with scientists. Location: Canberra.

An attractive salary package will be negotiated with the successful applicant. The appointment will initially be for 2 years.
