CRC Vision
Our mission is to provide research outputs for greenhouse emissions accounting at the national and project level.

Australia meeting the greenhouse challenge on the land supported by world class capability in greenhouse accounting.

The CRC is an unincorporated, independent collaborative research and development venture between nine prominent Australian institutions. It was established in 1999 for seven years under the Commonwealth Government's CRC Program. Our administrative head office is located in our Canberra premises.

The CRC is governed by a Board of Directors chaired by Mr John Buttle. Its day-to-day activities are directed by the Chief Executive and supported by a Management Team representing all major program activities within the CRC. The CRC also has a nominated Official Visitor and an Advisory Council (comprising three panels) that advises the Board.

The Centre's Research Partners contribute $475K in total per annum over the first five years and $225K over the two remaining years of the CRC's seven year life. They also provide generous in-kind assistance of approximately $7.5m pa. Total resources available to the CRC over seven years equal approximately $70.6m. Three Industry Partners also assist the Centre's operations.
